The Archive Room is located in the back left corner of the Library in the Killian Building and is open Monday-Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters (please see the Archive’s homepage or the Library’s web page for adjusted summer hours), and visitors are welcome. We are here to help you with your personal or academic research needs. In order to best assist you, it is strongly recommended that you make a research appointment prior to your visit, especially for large or complex research questions. Our archivist needs time to pull the relevant collections and information that best address your research needs. Please call the Archive with your genealogy questions before coming to see us. We understand genealogical research can be very time-intensive and want to make sure you are connecting with the best resources. While our collections may hold information about your family members, it is not guaranteed. The majority of people featured in our collections currently are connected with the history of the College. We are not able to provide extensive research assistance in genealogy at this time. This may change in the future, but we recommend reaching out to your local genealogical society or public library system, especially at the beginning of your genealogical research journey.
