This ongoing project is a partnership between the City of Hendersonville's Historic Preservation Commission, a professional consultant, and the Blue Ridge Community College Archives. It aim is to preserve the personal stories, photographs, and historical documents that reflect the cultural heritage of Hendersonville communities.

Browse through the Archive's individual interviews and oral history collections. Interviews cover a variety of topics related to local history and the history of Blue Ridge Community College.

Through this ongoing partnership between the Art Department and Archive, student artists donate a digitized copy of their art to the Archive to preserve their work and make it accessible to others. Many artworks will include an accompanying interview where artists talk about their process and artistic background.

In honor of the one year anniversary of Hurricane Helene, a multi-departmental oral history project was launched to help preserve the stories and memories of Blue Ridge students, faculty, and staff. Videos are sorted by themes to make them more easily searchable and accessible.
